MISSION:

A Catholic young adult ministry dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment where all young adults (aged 18-40) gather as a family to openly share, learn, and experience their faith and spirituality through Faith Sharing, Social Justice, and Fellowship.

INFO:

This group is for any single or married young adults between the ages of 18-40. This is a Catholic young adult ministry but we welcome all young adults regardless of their faith.

There is also NO COMMITMENT to join our group or any of our events. Please feel free to join us whenever you can. We are here to serve you and each other.

HISTORY:
St. Thomas More Young Adults Group launched in November 2008. In June 2009, Monsignor Labib came up with the idea to rename it to “St. Benedict’s Young Adults Group” in loving memory of Benedict Aguas (2/22/81-5/30/09).

Ben was an important pioneer of the group. He served as the main inspiration and advisor to his younger sister, Bernice, when she began developing the group after Monsignor Labib gave her the idea and invitation to start it.

Ben peacefully passed away on Pentecost in May 2009 but his spirit and passion lives on through the mission and members of St. Benedict’s Young Adults Group of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
